The Garden Club of Coral Springs is far, far, far more than just a flower club. It's hoped that this Web site allows you a glimpse at just how complex this young, 6 year-old nonprofit organization is, as well as how attuned the organization volunteer leadership is to our vision and mission.
Protecting and conserving natural resources
Advancing the art of gardening, horticulture and floral design
Promoting civic and roadside beautification
Develop a strong youth program in our community
Encourage the love of gardening among our future gardeners
With a primary focus on member’s education and enjoyment and our community beautification, the GCCS’s aspirations are, truly, our possibilities. We look forward to you joining us on this most pleasurable and rewarding of voyages.
Today's Garden Club is on the Cutting Edge for Action. Coral Springs lies at the Gateway to the Everglades. We are currently working with our public officials to have our City declared a "Community Wildlife Habitat". We assist financially and physically in the landscaping of
Habitat for Humanity homes built in Broward County
Each year we present a $500 Scholarship to a qualified graduating High School student majoring in horticulture, environmental science, landscape architecture, marine biology or a related science.
Every spring we conduct "Coral Springs Looking Good" a beautification awards project culminating with our Mayor presenting The Mayor's Award to deserving property owners or managers. We maintain several plantings and gardens throughout the city and partner with several community and city organizations.
